Boardroom Shuffle Incoming? Major Changes Rumoured at Celtic

The news cycle hasn’t stopped since Brendan Rodgers’ shock exit — and now, attention has quickly turned from the dugout to the boardroom.

Strong rumours are circulating tonight that Michael Nicholson could be set to move on from his role as Celtic CEO, with reports suggesting that Peter Lawwell may also finally be stepping aside as chairman.

In their place, Susan Whelan, formerly of Leicester City, has been heavily linked with the CEO position — a figure known for her sharp commercial mind and experience in building a successful Premier League brand. Meanwhile, Willie Haughey has been muttered as a potential successor to Lawwell in the chairman’s seat, though nothing is confirmed at this stage.

There are also suggestions of further boardroom reshuffling, with whispers of other long-serving directors considering their future as the club looks to steady itself after a chaotic few days both on and off the pitch.

If true, these would represent the biggest structural changes at Celtic in years — potentially signalling a new era of leadership and direction following Rodgers’ departure and the growing unrest among the support.

For now, the club has made no official comment, but it’s clear something is stirring behind the scenes at Parkhead.

Paradise Pulse will keep you updated as the picture becomes clearer.
