Celtic 4-0 Falkirk — Match Review

The first 20 minutes felt cagey — Celtic looked uncertain, still settling into life under Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney. But once they found their rhythm, it was a completely different side. The tempo lifted, the ball moved with purpose, and suddenly everything clicked.
From that point on, it was the best Celtic have looked all season. Passes were crisp, forward play was sharp, and there was real intent every time they broke forward. The tempo was quicker, the movement more coordinated, and the difference in energy was night and day compared to recent weeks.
Celtic dominated territory and chances, constantly asking questions of Falkirk’s back line. Shots rained in, pressure built, and the goals eventually came — a reward for a far more aggressive, dynamic display.
Saracchi was outstanding down the flank, offering pace, drive, and end product. Kenny put in a composed and commanding performance at the back, while James Forrest rolled back the years — direct, confident, and clinical when it mattered.
All in all, it was everything fans wanted to see: intensity, hunger, and real attacking football once again.
Bring on the Rangers. 🍀
